BAYGANDA EDUCATION INITIATIVE
$150 A Month Provides a safe primary and secondary boarding school education
The BayGanda Education Initiative provides a safe primary and secondary boarding school education to girls in Uganda whose families cannot provide access to schooling. Our girls come from all walks of life. Some of them have families who love them, but they have sacrificed being home in exchange for an opportunity to receive an education and tap into their purpose.
The current education outcomes for girls in Uganda are startling and should move all of us to take action. Almost half of all female youth in Uganda (15-24 years old) are illiterate, and 4 out of 5 girls in Uganda don’t attend high school. We are raising up powerful leaders who are the first in their families to not only receive an education and graduate, but also to pursue their education at the university level. Your support of this vision does not end with the girl that you sponsor. She will leverage the tools and resources that BayGanda has afforded her to reach back into her community and impact generations to come.
Through our holistic program, we build community with our girls and their families, and maintain close
relationships with their sponsors. With your support, we are giving an education to a girl in Uganda who would not otherwise have the opportunity. By educating one girl, we are educating a community of families and opening doors for them to experience poverty-free living. We ask that you join us in seeing more girls become confident entrepreneurs, tradeswomen, and leaders in their communities and beyond.
