Founders

Kurt and Linda

This husband and wife team founded the SAND Foundation in 2009

SAND - Student Adoption Network Development provided Ugandan orphans with an opportunity to be sponsored by an American family. This family would provide public school tuition and a viable future for children in Uganda. SAND encouraged families to communicate with their children by email and using Skype. The children live in a private residence where all basic needs are provided. SAND believes that education must be accompanied by a healthy, loving, and safe environment where children can thrive. In 2017 SAND teamed with “Sew What” and together adopted the new name BayGanda Foundation.
